Karl Reeves is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 30 years of experience in both finance and the elevator industry. Raised in his family’s business, Consolidated Elevator, he gained early exposure to all facets of small business operations and the re-occurring revenue business model. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BA in Psychology.

Karl began his financial career in the 1990s, quickly rising to Registered Principal. At Taglich Brothers, he became a top private placement producer while contributing to quantitative and technical research. He later founded his own office at Emmet A. Larkin Financial, where he led a team of brokers and managed compliance. In the early 2000s, he co-founded Principal Advisors, Inc., a full-service broker-dealer clearing through Sterne Agee.

Despite his success in finance, Karl maintained close ties to the elevator industry, ultimately acquiring Colonial Elevator in 2012. In 2015, he transitioned full-time to lead Consolidated Elevator. In May 2023, he successfully sold the company to American Elevator Group, a division of Arcline Investment Management, solidifying its position in the industry.

Today, Karl leverages his dual expertise through Consolidated Perceptions , offering specialized consulting in the sponsor leveraged recapitalization area with a focus on re-occurring revenue M&A strategy.
